Not The Real Thing
When Austrian designer Helmut Lang left his label to focus on his art, almost 16 years ago, I stopped to shop the label completely.
I was well aware that the brand still existed but I did not know anybody who was wearing it anymore.
Exception: vintage stuff.
Until this day I keep two jackets, one pair of trousers, four T-shirts and a pair of sun glasses.
Now a capsule collection came out that acutually caught my attention as it reminded me of those fabolous art pieces and "trueisms" Jenny Holzer created for him (see one example below)
Then again, not the same. Still not something I would give to my godchildren for spring.
Because without soul words are just marketing. Why should I fall for it?
