So next to puzzling and beating each other in our own private back gammon tournament, we started to scrabble again. Something we used to do as a family some decades ago, then never again, once the children had moved out. And I forgot, how competitive I used to be when we played as students, way back, sometimes for two days in a row...

Let me tell you this: Next to playing cards (and for my favorite card game you need four players, so...) there is no better game in the whole world. Just try to get your hands on a vintage edition, the one we had to buy during lockdown looks quite ugly in its new design.
