Stranger Things´ third season was kind of amazing, still mixing all kinds of memories of our baby-boomer-pasts to a movie about saving the world against the dark forces.

So far, so very close to the personal favorite hero-icons from my childhood books of "Fünf Freunde....". Five friends, that had to survive adventures together, one of them a very tomboyish girl named George (short for Georgina) and her dog Tim. Who would not feel sentimentally reminded of these guys when watching the gang from Hawkins saving the world from Russians and other evil.

The thing to remember forever from this season, is a song, that was sunken deep, deep in my subconscious memory: "Never Ending Story" by Giorgio Moroder was a hit back in the Eighties, but for all the wrong reasons, honored by all the wrong people.

But here, in this scene, when fellow nerd Suzie makes Dustin sing along - you all of a sudden feel all the power of youth in this hymn.

I love that it´s following me all day, once I heard it in the morning. What more to say?
