There is a new refined version of "The Godfather" in our movie theaters right now - for its 50th anniversary. But as I have just watched it during one of the lockdowns when everybody watched everything, the more epic, the better - I did not plan to do so.

I have to say, after I read the disarmingly charming interview with Al Pacino in the "New York Times" about that movie that made him an overnight sensation I might reconsider.
